We start here, but we can be there tomorrow. And as we go from here to there, we evolve. We’re rarely the same as the person who started out. That’s the joy of life.

Before we start out together, we’ll need to agree where we’re going. Once we know, we agree on when we need to be there. Then, critically, we can enjoy the journey.

Learning anything takes a bit of time, and discomfort. It’s easy to abandon the pursuit, and sometimes, it might be the right thing to do. But more often than not, we need to be patient with ourselves in those moments when we are taking baby steps. For we are babies when we learn.
We might get frustrated with the process from time to time, and conclude that there is no progress. But just like the baby tries everyday without fail, so should we. And, just like the baby’s goal is to one day run like others, but to focus on learning in a systematic manner, so should we.
For we can only grow if we learn, and only learn if we’re patient with the baby in us. We can run tomorrow, but today, we are learning.
